The 47 contact hours include periods of rest, quiet contemplation, journaling, and Savasana. Self study of 3 hours includes reading and journaling. This training is designed to fill your cup - not exhaust or deplete you.

Who This Training Is For

Intensity

Open to practitioners of all ages who want to deepen their practice. Learn to work intelligently with your unique anatomy and experience therapeutic alignment for pain-free asana. 

 For those who teach, this training will strengthen your personal practice and, in turn, give you tools to elevate your classes with safe, sustainable, healthy alignment. 

This is a practitioner training—an opportunity to dedicate yourself to your own practice and study.
It is not a teacher training; there is no focus on teaching methodology.

You have practiced yoga regularly for a minimum of 2 years (not a beginner). You are not required to have an advanced practice. Come as you are and work from there. 
Familiar with basic asanas, you are open to learning how to approach more complex asanas such as Handstand and Urdva Danurasana via good preparation, variations, and modifications. 
Practitioners with injuries and limitations are welcome – contact Barbra directly if you have questions.

You’ll build skill and confidence while honouring your unique anatomy and capacity. Start where you are, and build from there at your own pace. May this journey of yoga move you towards deeper self-knowledge and greater appreciation of who you are—with a steady, lived sense of feeling good in your body.

At the heart of this training is a simple intention: to support you in remembering your innate worthiness.

KULA: COMMUNITY

This training offers an opportunity to learn and reflect on key yogic concepts and how to apply them to life. The philosophical roots of Anusara Yoga lie in non-dual Tantra, a life-affirming worldview that supports fully engaging with life to find value in every experience.

Relationships are the practice ground for harmony and connection. This training includes partner work and guided exercises to help clarify your values. Anusara honours individuality and community —unity in diversity.

The Anusara method works with alignment principles based on biomechanics - the intelligence of how the body moves. You will learn specific actions via The Universal Principles of Alignment and a system of Loops, helpful for refining individual anatomical needs.

Barbra Noh has been a student of movement her whole life. She studied ballet in Australia and then moved to Europe to dance professionally in theatres.

Today she is an internationally recognised yoga teacher who loves to share her passion for health, healing and personal growth.

With close to 30 years’ experience teaching yoga, she is a leading educator for yoga teachers. Additional to her highly regarded Anusara Yoga teacher trainings she is also co-founder of a healing system that integrates yoga, Ayurveda and bodywork: ThaiVedic.

Her classes are physically challenging, mentally stimulating, and emotionally uplifting. Her precise and structured approach to teaching makes complex material accessible and enjoyable to learn.

Barbra believes the transformational techniques and teachings of yoga empower and encourage us in our quest to sense our worthiness and live our full potential.

She now calls Bali home while still teaching regularly in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Korea.

You will be able to apply Actions of Alignment to adjust poses so they feel good for your body.

Understand postural alignment and how to work intelligently with your individual anatomy for healthy joints and an expanded range of motion. 

Gain inspiration from Tantric philosophy and the wisdom of the yoga tradition, in ways relevant to modern life.

Take away practical tools to optimize and individualize your practice—working intelligently with your unique body, including hypermobility, pain, injuries, and limitations.

Teachers will take away new tools for teaching asana in a safe, sustainable, and therapeutically beneficial way. These tools can be applied to any style of yoga.

Once you have contacted us about registration, we will send you Barbra's Bali Guide as a PDF. This is packed with information to make planning your trip easy.

Inform yourself about visa regulations for your passport. Your passport must be valid for a further 6 months after your intended stay and you must have proof of onward travel booked. 

Indonesia does not accept entry if passports are damaged or soon to expire. 

For nearly all passports a Visa On Arrival (VOA) is available at Denpasar airport. Alternatively apply online prior to arrival via the official Indonesian Immigration website by submitting documents and paying the fee. You'll get a QR code for entry, along with the mandatory All Indonesia Arrival Card done separately but within 3 days before arrival.

Ensure you have international travel health insurance. Also consider general travel insurance to cover cancellations and lost baggage.

What You Need To Do

Step 1: Complete the registration request form so we know you are in!

Step 2: Receive all relevant information and the above mentioned documents. Read them carefully.

Step 3: Book your flights as soon as possible. We’ll send you advice on how to book online as cheaply as possible. Due to the long journey, the adjustment to a new time zone and to the tropical climate, we strongly advise you arrive 3 days prior to the training starting. Please make sure you are well rested and ready for our 7 day training. If you are in need of peace and quiet, avoid Kuta, Seminyak and especially Canggu. If you want a beach, consider Sanur which is half way between the airport and Ubud, or just settle into Ubud.

Step 4: Book your accommodation. Make use of Google maps to select something walking distance to The Yoga Barn that suits your taste and budget (read the reviews!), or stay onsite at The Yoga Barn – more info here. Find recommendations for nearby accommodation here.

Step 5: Join our WhatsApp group for this training. Share thoughts, questions, airport taxis, find a roommate. You will need WhatsApp (WA) for Bali. Everything is done via WA from hotel bookings to restaurant bookings and visa extensions.
